Flower freebies

A dull but reasonably still day, so I've alternated between indoors and out. I'm on the last day of titling photographs from my Irish visit and the daily write-ups are with my daughter who is editing them! I really don't know what I'd do without Google Lens - and I've only been using it for the last year or so. Useful for identifying so much, from views, building, plants and even statues in Belfast's Donegall Square!

Did some cleaning up around the house with my relatively new battery-powered blower - perfect for what I need. Bit of weeding, potting, and watering too, and we actually sat out with a cuppa this afternoon until a very light shower drove us indoors. 

Today's Blip is of a trayful of seedling Common Spotted Orchids which I mentioned yesterday. I think they've been germinating in various pots for many years but I don't notice then until they flower! Real freebies!

My friend Tim will be with us shortly - we're going to Benmore Botanic Garden tomorrow for a get together of the British Pteridological Society, aka the Fern Club! Should be fun!
