Flower Friday: Lavender

It's been a lovely sunny day, with the temperature up to a max of about 23C (ie "scorching" for northeast England!). We had some errands to do in the morning, and in the afternoon I made use of the weather to prune some shrubs and attack (yet more) brambles in the garden. The lavender is coming on nicely so it provided my blip for Bikerbear's FF challenge (thanks Anni). It looks best large.

My Editor and I had time this evening to enjoy looking through all the entries to last Saturday's hosted Silly Saturday challenge. Thanks so much to everyone who joined in last weekend’s hosted Silly Saturday challenge in memory of Admirer. You gave us a bumper crop of chuckles to look through and laugh about! We really struggled to come up with a list of 5 hearts and 5 Honourable Mentions, and in the end in fact an extra Heart and an extra HM managed to slip in.
