I dragged myself out of bed at 6.45 to swim and I was glad In did, though it's was very busy and a bit like dodgems.
Canned home to find T had eschewed the home made pancakes and ginger fire the choc crepes, even though they hadn't been laid out. C'est la vie. It was very warm and humid outside.
S and T set off for town at half 8 and I followed later, wearing the wrong shoes.I binned them when I got home, in bare feet. I was early at le coiffeur so was home early before noon. Interesting bus passengers, same drunk guys there and back.
I had a lovely quiet afternoon. Sat in the garden under the parasol looking at the pictures Joyce sent and then going through summer of my albums. It did get windy though.
Then off to Patrons' Night at the Lyceum. It was very hot in the Ellen Terry room. The play was The Mountaintop, the last night of Martin Luther King. It was v powerful even more so since another war started today. Why can't people just talk to one another.
Got 24 and 7 home. Still light at 10.
