Street Art
We arrived at the lacrosse fields just as Parker’s first game started. Sports tournaments are not vacations for anyone, players or spectators. But they are wonderful events if you are a sports enthusiast. Our team struggles with the first game of the day. We’d heard our opponent lost all their games yesterday. They brought in reinforcements today and outscored us by two. The boys had a slight break and then had a fine finish to their day. We won 7-3, Parker scored and his team took third place. Parker and Renee headed home so he can get ready for his new electrical apprenticeship job tomorrow. We used the Father’s Day gift card from them for the local Italian restaurant. It was so good. We brought leftovers back to the condo, including two homemade Italian desserts. This butterfly was one of several wall murals we saw in the city. It was just outside our window at the restaurant. I offered hubby the option of a little sightseeing. He has not been to historic Jamestown. He preferred to take a much needed nap. We could hear the predicted thunderstorms in a distance, but the rain just started here. We will use our last evening in Williamsburg to read (incl your journals) and chill. We will be home for a few weeks and then camp near Parker’s last tournament. Wishing you time to rest and enjoy life. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. “Few people go to art exhibitions. The power of Street Art is that it goes to people’s daily life to be seen.” - iNO
