Fleeting Visit

This beautiful Small Tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae) landed on the roof of the bird table this afternoon, to enjoy the sunshine I would think. It was courteous enough to stay whilst I took a couple of photographs then went on to visit a neighbours Buddleia. A common butterfly but a very pretty one all the same.
