Le retour

The return journey home from Le Mans went well. We got to the Routier, where we now stop for lunch, at midday having discovered last year, when we had to wait half an hour for a table, that it soon fills up. The main photo is of the Routier, L'Escale. Excellent value - 16.50 Euros for a 3 course meal with a very good menu choice. One of the extras is of the wheat field alongside the restaurant. The other extra is the observation tower at the Baie de Somme services, a favourite stop both going and coming back. We got to the Shuttle terminus two hours before our booked train and were able to get on one an hour earlier. So, after dropping Ron off en route, I was home by just gone 9pm. It's the London Legal Walk today, so that should bring some useful blipping opportunities.
