Roll With It

Another Day - Another Pimm’s

A good mornings work at the rugby club finishing off from yesterday’s efforts. Some bits and pieces we should have perhaps thought of earlier but we can add to next years prep list at the wash up.
It was interrupted by an RNA committee meeting, the mix up over the start time incurred some raised eyebrows and ruffled feathers at the club.

This months extended lunch with David T was at Stones Bakery and very enjoyable it was as well. Then another quick hour at the rugby club before heading home for a shower and change of clothes before being picked up by Ian.
Our destination; Royal Naval Airstation Culdrose, HMS Seahawk, for the ‘Captains Evening’, a really informative event. I grabbed my first Pimm’s and latched onto a Royal Marine officer who gave a really good talk on the range of UAV’s, (drones), currently in service. Incredible array of technology with immense capabilities.
Following the Captains address and more Pimm’s we were treated to a flying display by a Merlin this led to the Sunset & Evening Colours ceremony, always really moving and tonight was no exception.

Couple of beers at the Half Way House at Rame and home.
Another good day.
