Mint Leaf Beetle

Still cloudy this morning, and a couple of light showers. It brightens up for the morning walk. Walkking through the woods, a squirrel does a nice pose on a branch. However, in the park, I spot this mint leaf beetle crawling over a dock leaf. This must be a male as it is very small. Female beetles are about twice the size of the male.

After work a nice walk through the woods towards Mortonhall. Extra shows another squirrel intent on posing for the camera.
