River Girls

We went to our favourite pub today. The Kings Arms in Sandford-on-Thames. It's right on the river and they do a lovely Sunday roast. Which is made all the tastier by being free on our Tesco's vouchers!
We met my Mum and Dad, Mr B, Mrs L and Cousins M and T - a proper family outing!
After stuffing our faces we went for a walk along the river and the Little Misses - never slow to strip off and jump into water - stripped off and jumped in!
They loved it!
Unfortunately Miss E had a bit of a hissy fit about getting out and then proceeded to shout, complain and stamp her feet.
And paw at me whining.
And scream and moan and shout about getting back in.
Oh she makes me so angry!!! She reacts so badly when things have to end and makes you wish you hadn't done it in the first place because the stress at the end is hardly worth it.
But she did eventually calm down and we had a lovely couple of hours back in the pub garden. She and Miss L made friends with a couple of other girls and played hide and seek and mad running about games. Poor Miss M ended up doing quite a lot of seeking and general childminding, bless her!
The Little Misses fell asleep on the way home so went straight to their beds. Mr K and I are watching the second half of The Hobbit because somebody fell asleep last night. Naming no names but I have a lightweight husband!
