Let the holiday commence..

Day 1:

We arrived in Pooley Bridge today which is on the shores of Ullswater. We're here for the next three nights, staying at a lovely campsite on the outskirts of the village. We're cheating a little bit as we're staying in a pod rather than a tent, but we've still had to bring everything else required for a camping trip. So basically, everything apart from the tent!

It was raining when we got here but it cleared up this evening so we had a lovely pub tea at the Pooley Bridge Inn, then back to the pod for a glass of fizz whilst we watched the sun go down.
