An early start to get a prime parking spot, and we had a 4 hour paddleboard over Derwentwater and along the River Derwent towards Grange. The recent rains meant that the water in the river was a little deeper than usual, so we managed to get further up the river than we've ever managed before, until the speed of flow was too strong to make any further progress. After yesterday's infinity bridge, Deb suggested our lives were becoming one long adventure!

A three hour rehearsal with the band in the evening, so after all that, my arms had had a good workout today.
