The Feast Day of Corpus Christi.
We celebrate on this Feast Day the supernatural reality of the true presence of Christ in the consecrated Bread and Wine during Holy Mass.

I am overwhelmed and very grateful for all your wonderful encouragement and kindness, blip friends when I celebrated yesterday, 13 years being on blipfoto. I was so surprised and amazed to be at 3rd position on the poplar page. Thank you my dear followers. It is wonderful to have shared the ups and downs of our shared life stories and photos each day. It is one of the best communities for mutual kindness, honesty and openness. I am not highly technical but I enjoy learning from others. The recent heat was very challenging and I felt a bit wiped out, sweating nearly all day, being drained and near to having a heat related headache, but staying hydrated and managing to eventually sleep at 1am!

Today is much milder and it has rained throughout the afternoon.

I went to 9am Mass at the Parish Church.

Father gave us a good sermon about Corpus Christi and how Christ is always present on the Altar under the guise of the consecrated host.

Blessed Carlo Acutis is due to be canonised in September and he wrote about Eucharistic miracles.

I am listening to the Audible version of The Salt Path. I have not seen the film. Maria has read the book a while ago. It is not Paul 's kind of theme. He likes si fi.
I came to the story with an open mind nit having much idea what it was about. It is engrossing and well read. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it.

Paul kindly bought the dear cats new stainless steel bowls from The Range, to replace the old blue plastic ones. Apparently plastic bowls harbour germs even when washed thoroughly. Both our cats are happily virus free and fit as fiddles.

Jasper visited us and I gave him a Sherba sachet and Dentabites. He gobbled it up and purred. His ginger fur looked damp from the rain but as beautiful as ever.

We changed the furniture around in the conservatory and it made me very happy how it renewed the energy in there. I might blip it next week.

Enjoy Sunday evening and thank you for visiting my site today.
