Linda’s exhibition

Now the author (mentioned yesterday) has Brian Jones alive in 1973. I’m up to 1987 now and the story and chatter is getting repetitive. As is the stuff about Ireland’s attitude to the church and homosexuality. Important of course but it certainly is being relentlessly hammered home.

The man who makes blinds came to measure for bathroom ones. I’m getting a kind of terracotta-orange which looks good and ties in with the wallpaper. The grey/green wasn’t right.

I called on Linda to pick up the preview tickets for her art exhibition at the Dovecote in Edinburgh. We are going up by train with our London friends. Here’s a photo - one of her acrylics is top middle. It’s only on from Friday-Sunday this week but if anyone is in the area do pop in.

Chris called this afternoon for coffee. She likes the bathroom.

More sad news as it appears a good friend has bowel cancer and is getting scans to look for secondaries.
