Pleased we stayed

Up at 6:30, showered and off to boulangerie via the lake path, but the shorter route. Croissant for breakfast and then walked to the citadel. Took about 40 minutes but we were shaded on the path we took. Coffee in the square, and Hetty got such a shock when a cricket landed on her back, she jumped up and the waiter thought it was very funny.
The ramparts were the best we have ever seen with tunnels taking us through and up. Views from the top were fabulous. Sat in the square for a sandwich and then thought we should head back as temperature going up and harder to find shade. The Lion was not what I expected, it is massive.
Another good session reading and moving the chairs to remain in shade. Pasta for dinner, and again cooked outside as the camper still too hot inside.
