Tall

Today was my work even in London. I got up early - and took the train to London, which was only slightly delayed, I was surprised that it wasn't stuffed full of people and was able to get a seat without a problem. From Waterloo I took the Jubilee line to Canary Wharf and then a short walk to the Museum of London (Docklands) where the event was held. The blip was taken on my way and is a pair of old dock cranes.

The work even was a bit tedious but not too demanding and there was corporate nibbles and we went to a pub across the dock which was okay. It was nice to see my colleagues again - we all work remote so it's nice to have a get together now and then.

After a while in the pub, I reversed route and went back to my friend's in Hampshire. I thoughtfully raided the nibbles at lunchtime and was able to have some fruit (not ripe), biscuits (with palm in - urgh) and some crisps on the train home.

BTW: it was hotter than the surface of the sun in London....
