Daffodil field in summer

In summer the rows of dead leaves and stalks in the bulb fields always look rather sad. However, there's a lot growing round the mostly undisturbed perimeters of the fields. Today I saw thistles, common fumitory, camomile and a few corn marigolds (see extras).
