Bayeux medieval parade

We discovered that there was a big parade in Bayeux this evening so we had an easier day so we could walk into town to see it.

This morning we called into the botanical gardens which was small but well maintained and had this lovely display marking the fact they have the grand depart this year.

The parade was interesting if not a little odd and the market was selling all sorts of loosely medieval artisan goods. So many people out and about and all good humoured from what we could see. See extras for a taste of the parade.
