Gatekeeper

Another very warm and humid day, but at least there's been a nice breeze and a bit more cloud about to keep it bearable... just!

Did take an early wander and my aim was to see gatekeeper butterflies today - mission success!  Nice to see them all back and lots flying around, along with ringlets, marbled whites, peacocks, commas, whites and red admirals!    Very quiet on the bird front although there were lots of chiffchaffs and skylarks about singing their songs!
