G&T.

Lovely sunny day today. M went for lifeboat exercise as usual, I stayed at home and pottered in the garden. When M got back, we played a game of golf at Balnagask, and I somehow managed a birdie! I must be getting a bit better after all :o)

In the afternoon we headed to the shops to pick up a few holiday bits; M got a lovely Volcom shirt and I couldn't resist a new Volcom dress - blue silk with a tribal pattern. I love buying holiday clothes!

When we got home, M's friends (and neighbours) T and A invited us over for a BBQ to celebrate their daughter X being back home from Uni in America. T is embarking on a building project in Italy that is a huge undertaking - the plot and skeleton of the building is simply massive. T even had some PhD students looking into how it could be made self-sufficient; they have come up with hydrogen storage cells. There will be a vineyard, olive groves and a humongous lake which will store all the water they need. The best bit though? T would like a hot tub, and so has invited M and I out to Italy next summer, all travel and accommodation paid, for M to build him one. Woo hoo!!
