Memory lane

I had a work event in Stone today with my boss, Dan. It was nice to work together, if briefly!

I happened to be at a conference centre where an old colleague from Shrewsbury now works, so managed a good catch up with her afterwards, too.

Then I had an hour or so before meeting Rob, so I headed to Keele for a walk and a reminisce. It was so lovely to go back and have a wander around. Lindsay was my accommodation block and so I had a good poke around there. Such absolutely joyous memories, how lucky we were to find not only a beautiful university but incredible, lifelong friends, too.

Talking of which, I met Rob for dinner as he breezed past on the way back from Tanzania via Greece. Always wonderful to spend time with one of my absolute favourite humans.
