A much cooler and overcast day, with a few spots of rain during the bowls match.

Having reached the halfway point in the Tuesday afternoon league, we played the return fixture against our 'C' team this afternoon. As the 'away' team, the C team had the advantage of the jack at the first end.

Our side was weakened due to illness and the unavailability of a couple of players. 

The C team gave us a good run for our money, but we managed to come out on top with six winners out of ten (see extra) and secured another 2 points for the aggregate. I was more than happy with my bowling today and won my game 21–6.

We are now second in the division, but there are some tough games ahead this month.

The Wales in Bloom judge is visiting the club in two week's time. The club always makes a big effort with floral displays around the green  and has won awards in recent years.
