Astrantia

I probably blip astrantia at least once a year, but I continue to be entranced by the flowers.

It is a thug in my garden and the white variety has taken over from the rarer pink and dark red hybrids. I forgive it!

I have not managed to concentrate on much today. Tomorrow is the big reunion and I think it is on my mind, despite me looking forward to it.

Claire was able to cut my hair. We agreed that she would just tidy it because it was not long. Hmm. Let a hairdresser loose with scissors and you know what happens! It's a lovely cut (but a bit short)!

I seem to have faffed about while the rain fell outside. It was dark for most of the day.

This evening I watched Emma Raducanu win her second round match. She is playing very well. Her next round will be very tough because it is against the World Number One. 

In case you are interested, I have painted my toenails and tried out my make up for tomorrow. Bothered? A bit anxious? Of course not!!

Oh yes, I've been trying to decide which lenses to take with me because I will be photographing people and groups. This 24mm lens did remarkably well for a close up flower. It might make the draw!

And a RANT
I had a message from DPD to say they could not deliver a parcel today because I was out. The driver did not leave a card and since his name is the same as the last time, I assume he did not find my house AGAIN. They will not leave the parcel in a safe place so I'm hoping to meet him on Friday. They won't take what3words until he leaves the depot. I am not happy.
