Life's Little Moments

Fritillary

The most common fritillary species here - the Great Spangled Fritillary.  This is definitely a show-stopper butterfly and very easy to photograph since they tend to stay put when they find a good nectar-rich flower, like this patch of echinacea.  I had some fun snapping a bunch of shots and kept a few favorites.

I spent way too much time this morning trying to sort my LR catalogs.  As best as I can tell, the USB-c port on my Mac that the hard drive was plugged into may have been the problem.  Once I switched the drive to a different port, things seemed to work as they should.  I still need to clean up the hard drive on the Mac, but I will save that task until tomorrow I think.

Temps are comfortable today so spending some time in the garden was enjoyable.

And tick-tock...three days until I leave for S. America!
