A Normal Day in Sheringham
I do enjoy the annual Potty Morris and Folk Festival in Sheringham! This year there are 49 sides from around the country taking part. I love that the teams are so varied in look and so enthusiastic, and everyone watching seems to have a smile on their face. This year I decided to try positioning myself near the start of the parade that kicks it all off, it took about 25 mins for all the teams to pass me. I've added a couple of collage extras if you're interested. I intended to try to capture the teams as a whole, but ended up doing the close ups as normal. An interesting journey to and from Sheringham as coming out of my estate it said the road into town was closed (it wasn't - not yet at least), then returning along the coast road route, the signs wanted to take me on a diversion via a route that would have taken me into town the wrong side of the 'closed road'. Being local I know to ignore most of the road closed / diversion signs, but it is annoying and tourists must get very confused. This afternoon I watched more Wimbledon, Djokovic was very impressive. Thanks for all your lovely comments and hearts for my hummingbird hawk moth yesterday - I will reply individually tomorrow.
