Playtime at Calgary

What a very special few minutes I had during my walk with Bertie in the rain at Calgary. I stopped to watch the waves crashing onthe rocks and noticed some unusual splashes in a sheltered inlet. I didn’t have my binoculars but used my camera to zoom in and saw that the commotion was being caused by not one, but two otters. They appeared to be young ones and they were having a great time diving on top of each other. Then they got out of the sea and chased one another around the seaweed-covered rocks. Unfortunately, they were a bit far away and the light level was low to let me capture decent shots but I have chosen two of the best to share, and I have some great pictures stored away in my memory.
