Lunch with a view.

After church we headed up into Wharfedale for a late Sunday lunch to end our week of birthday celebrations.
This was the view from our table overlooking the River Wharfe and the bridge in the village of Burnsall.

We were at The Fell, formerly The Devonshire Fell and formerly The Fell!  Not new to us we spent our wedding night here many years ago and we have been since to both to stay fir our anniversary and last year to have Afternoon Tea.
Not the best weather today but the view is amazing whatever the weather, (even further back we had a meal here for my sister’s 21st which was in November, it was dark but we had a view of bonfires and fireworks)
A very nice two course meal. I had a traditional Sunday lunch but Chris had mussels. A lovely place and less than an hours drive from home 

Had a little walk around the garden before we left. I thought the bench table in the extra looked lovely, don’t know what Chris was doing!!
