At last!

It’s 17 days since I discovered these alliums coming into flower.
I’d forgotten I’d even planted them. They have gradually turned pink but not really got much bigger, that could be due to lack of water this year or the variety but having planted 6 I think when the flowers are spent I will clump them closer together for more impact. I thought I’d use this macro shot for my blip today.

Some very heavy rain yesterday evening but today has been fine with a pleasant breeze. Moving towards hot later in the week and as we’ll be in Bath I think it will be very hot!

Singing as usual this morning; starting to fine tune songs for our September concert, adding some additional bits of harmony and marking where we are not singing as there are some solos. It seems a way off still but as our leader is away the first half of August he wants to get ahead. We’ll probably only get one session in August too.

The summer seems to be whizzing away.
