Sally Mair - Loving life

Last year my lovely#1 daughter and family gave me a garden centre voucher for my birthday. I've spent all year failing to buy anything, but today, finally I got this lovely lounger. I've been complaining for years, that sun loungers are too close to the ground for me and that I find them awkward to get up from. I've scoured the net and every shop I've been in but they all seem to be the same height. At the weekend though, I found this. The bed height is 50cm which is much more civilised than usual and it even has a wee tray table for a glass or book or whatever. Even better it was £20 off in the sale. According to the website a nearby garden centre sold them so that was our trip today.
I thought I was going to be disappointed as there were none on display, but the teenager who appeared to be the manager said he thought there was one in the stock room... There was and he even carried it to the car for us. I was delighted with my purchase. It wasn't tried out today as it was a bit windy, but soon! I even have some money left on the card to buy some plants with.
We headed, after that, to another garden centre of the same group at Kinross. The restaurant there is far superior and I love wandering by the loch there too. It's less than 30 minutes away, and makes a nice change. The food was as good as ever.
Once we got home I cracked on and got the black currant jelly finished, a perfect set very quickly. It really is a very satisfying jelly and such a rich colour too.
