Bean crop

We think that our beans are ready for cropping. We will have some with a nut roast tomorrow evening.

We both managed to stay awake all day (in my case despite waking at 3:00am), and we even ventured out for a (rather hot) walk this afternoon. I had wanted to see the new St Columba's furniture warehouse in Bonnington so we added this to the route. We were very impressed with the shop. It's like an upmarket version of the Edinburgh Furniture Initiative. 

Also today I have gardened, worked, and administered. It looks like Mummy hazelh will transfer to her new home on Thursday. My not-so-little sister and I will be coordinating the move.

At lunchtime today, I was very sad to hear of the death of blipper Knottman2.

Exercise today: gardening; walking (11,917 steps).
