Let's go fly, a kite

It was a very slow start to the day. I slept really well but decided not to swim.

Then did not a lot all morning, except stop the girls watching rubbish TV.

Eventually everyone was up, dressed and fine then work that needed done and we headed off to Hermiston Gait for some lunch and then a lot of time buying warm clothes in Tesco and then outdoor clothes in Decathlon. The girls are cold, despite it being 22 deg. 

Then we went to see Mum. She was glad to see the family. And another invite has arrived to the VJ Day anniversary at the Castle, attended by HRHs Edinburgh. We will go. 

Came home and went to the play park to fly the newly bought kite and see the horses. 

Home for dinner and then it was time for story time and bed. Been a busy day.
