Cheeky Blighters!

Over to my sister’s for lunch. It rained a tiny bit, but not as much as forecast and nowhere near enough to make up for all the hot dry days. My sister told me the bad news that she’s been diagnosed with osteoporosis. Our Mum and one of our aunties had it, and another auntie had softening of the bones, so unfortunately it is in the family. She will be offered either medication to take or an annual infusion injection, which Mum had. The injection enables you to build up a healthier new layer of bone on the outside of the existing brittle bone to help protect against fractures. I had a bone scan about ten years ago, and was told all was fine. However, I might ask for another now I’m older.

My sister kindly gave me a stool for my bedroom which she didn’t have room for in hers. My blip shows Wilhelmina the ballet mouse and Spencer Bear hot water bottle having clambered up on it in my newly refurbished bedroom. Somehow I don’t think I’m going to be able to get them off again to sit on it myself…
