Steep Walk - Hot Day

We enjoyed a pleasant 20 minute walk into the path to Kinder Reservoir but then came across what seemed like an endless steep pathway that began to be much less fun so we stopped to enjoy the view and made our way back down to the pleasant walk through the valley by the river Kinder and then the river Sett.

Spent the rest of the day to the dulcet tones of the cricket commentary and reading the Guardian that I had managed to pick up this morning. It was great to relax but it did feel pretty hot in our sheltered enclave.

Shared a rib eye steak for dinner and enjoyed the evening as it cooled off.

Everything is called Kinder here - Kinder Road, Kinder Scout, Kinder River and Kinder Reservoir. Couldn’t fine any Kinder Eggs though!
