River Tweed & the Eildon Hills

First day of my Summer-holidays (the auto-response is now on!), and it very happily coincided with a second Saturday of the month :-)

And we had totally glorious weather for our mini-expedition down to 'Tweedbank Rail Station', in The Borders; we then walked along the River Tweed (main snap) to Melrose; up and over both of the main Eildon Hills (1st extra shows the top of Eildon Mid Hill ); then back down to Melrose again, and returned towards Tweedbank, and a visit to the Tempest Brewery Tap Room (2nd extra); before catching the train back to the Capital.

A very stressful start to our Summer-holiday period ;-)
