View from a lounger
I'm confused about days today, I think being away overnight has thrown me, I expected today to be Sunday for some reason.
When I got up this morning my first task was to pick the remaining blackcurrants so I can get them made into jelly. 500g today so a half batch of jelly.
After lunch I decided I needed to do something about the pots in the front garden. I bought some beautiful geraniums about 6 weeks ago and they have sat in their tray - I gave them plenty of time to plant themselves but no, so today I took matters into my own hands and planted them on by myself. They're a beautiful deep pink - almost crimson, colour.
I decided they looked rather lonely so shot down to The Range for some small plants to keep them company. I opted not to go for the 6 packs they were selling which majored in geraniums and begonia. Instead I bought some ready planned pots which had 8 larger plants planted up in them. I took them home, took them out of their arrangements and scattered them around my own pots. Much better to have these larger healthier plants than the wee ones otherwise on offer.
I wasn't long finished when the Hazelh's turned up on the tandem to pick up some china I'd bought for them yesterday.
The rest of my day was spent checking out my new lounger, it's much easier to get on and off than any other I've tried.
My blip is of our anniversary rose blooming above my head as I stretched out. I actually spent most of the day under our parasol, I'm not very good at lying in the sunshine.
