Heatwave

A busy day, although I did sit down to watch the Women’s Tennis final at Wimbledon. A very one sided match.

It’s been a really hot day, and I’ve stayed out of the sun for most of it. The warmth continued this evening so I took myself off to Crosby beach to watch the sun set. Always magical. It was busy - lots of people enjoying the evening warmth.

I arrived back home and could hear the distant sound of Oasis playing “look back in anger”. I’ve heard the concert is loud and can be heard miles away, but surely it can’t reach here.
