I'm always up for
a quilt show in spite of my
very cranky feet

~carliewired

I was out the door at 8 heading for my friend's house across the river. G and I had plans for quilt stores and a quilt show today in Salmon Arm. The weather was perfect!!

We made  a stop at the quilt store in Salmon Arm before carrying on to the quilt show. I managed to get parked in the handicapped area to save my cranky feet. Then G and I were in Haney Park to enjoy the show.

The Salmon Arm quilt guild is a prolific group. Their show is well set up with quilts on every available location. The Sprig of Heather restaurant was open for food and refreshments. We managed to get in before the lunch rush and we could not pass up on the delicious rhubarb crisp that they are famous for.

We had a chat with the ladies of the local spinning and weaving group. Then, we bumped into several quilters that we know from Kamloops.

When we took our leave, we drove on to Armstrong to catch their quilt store before heading for home.

I dropped G at her house about 4 PM. I'm home and exhausted. I had a great day with my friend and also invested in some quilt fabric.
