Celebrations

I took the photo late last night, but I thought I would include it for today’s blip as I have been playing around with the image to enhance it. I did not think the fireworks would take place with all the rain we had but it cleared up by 10 pm and it was a great display. It was my service today but for some reason there were only five in attendance, four of whom were bellringers. We rang before the service but then cancelled the hymns and talk and kept it to a simple said service. We then went on to our group of friends for the periodic get together with coffee and cake. The rest of the day was given over to catching up with a family phone call, the Wimbledon finals and the cricket. I did go down to the club to leave my rackets for restringing and will go along tomorrow to discuss what strings and tensions to use with the coach from the club in the next town He is running a week’s training course for the children in our club.
