Installation

It is usually quite difficult to get local workmen for jobs around the house so this may be a record! My electrician friend yesterday recommended I contact a plumber he works with. I phoned him yesterday morning and he came round yesterday afternoon. He bought the new water tank first thing this morning and has now fitted it. That is quite a result! I had to be back from the market early to help him remove the old tank which was heavy. It had lots of rust in it. The replacement tank is half the size which should be enough for the two of us and will considerably reduce our electricity bill. The moules de bouchot that I prefer are now available in the supermarket so I bought some for lunch. There were three of us at French conversation which is just about a quorum but we were missing Daniel our Francophone. Nevertheless, we had a good discussion which revolved around the administrative requirements for renewing our five year post Brexit residence permits which will soon expire.
