The 1860 train model.
The Feast Day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Each year on 16th July, Catholics and Christ's followers celebrate this liturgical feast in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Feast is a remembrance of Mother Mary's protection of the Carmelite Order and their devotion to Her. St Simon Stock received the Brown Scapular from Mother Mary and it is given as a spiritual protection.
The photo today is Paul's second project, a 1860 steam train model. He took a few hours to make it yesterday it was more difficult that the Cello music box.
It is sunny and 20.7c in the living room. It is more merciful and easier to do activities without feeling exhausted.
A peaceful day for me, doing housework, washing and drying, reading, online Mass from St Marie's in Sheffield. Mass in the evening at the Parish Church.
Paul is starting a new kit now, that is a level four project of The Victory Ship. They go up to level five in complexity. It looks impressive, but is very challenging. It will keep him enthralled and happy.
We are growing cat grass from seed in the greenhouse for our cats and it is doing well so far.
A few slugs and a snail appeared after all the down pours yesterday.
Have a good Wednesday blip friends and thank you for visiting my site.
