Northumberland Coast

A trip to the Northumberland coast for the weekend. We landed in Seahouses Saturday afternoon..
Out first evening walk about along the shore to the north.  There was an inland waterway, we were amazed to see 7 herons resting in various states together on the far bank. We watched them for a while, then this one got bored and took off for a recon along the beach.
Extra is a view out over the beach across to the Farne Islands.
