Sunday morning,  an early start to Lindisfarne, miss the crowds and catch the tide to get across the causeway.  A great walk in the peace and quiet as cars are all mostly parked up before the village.
A fine morning apart from a ridiculously overpriced and poor quality crab stottie, we note that most places now do not display their prices, we resolved in future to check prices up front and make a point of rejecting things. Despite that minor setback the scenery and wildlife was superb, we will be back.  Collage of Lindisfarne in extra.
 Off the island before the tide came back over the causeway and then to Bamburgh. 
The cricket pitch must have one of the finest backdrops in England ? The game was lively,  I took a lot of shots hoping to capture the action, I reckon this shot went for a four - fielders with their hands on heads is a giveaway.
A beer outside the Victoria Hotel people watching, there was a cyclist with the old style peak cap turned up and a fine droopy moustache but the chap in the extra took the biscuit with his monocle, braces and silver handled stick - splendid.
