A Day of Two Halves…

A very early start on the lake with Tracey, looking for her pot of gold! We had been paddling towards a band of rain and turned around to return to port. The rainbow was a gift. 

At home we had a second breakfast then Tracey set off to start a 10 day hike around Monta Rosa while I set off to meet PAR1 at our favourite blipmeet area, the Col de Pillon and Diablerets Glacier. The roiling clouds made the visibility a bit iffy but added to the atmosphere, especially on the Tissot Bridge where you can see PAR1 in the extra! Lower down, at the Diablerets hut, P. was in her element finding a different range of Alpine flowers to the last time we were there. 

I think I’ll sleep well tonight!
