Carry on Camping

This weekend we are attending M&A's wedding.  No.2 is best man and has been friends with Matt since they were 4.  Helen (Matt's Mum) died when he was 4 - leukemia so parallels with our lives in some ways.

No.2 and Hannah are staying over and were not keen to sleep in Aimee's room so we are giving them our bed and we are sleeping in the garden.  All summer through the heat I have fancied sleeping outside so I decided to buy a cheap tent and will sleep under the stars (sort of) tomorrow.  We decided on a dry run and it was an easy peasy pop up tent but getting it back in the bag - impossible.  Now I know why so many are left at festivals rather than packed away and used again.  I got the giggles while OH got cross but persevered for around 20 minutes - it would not defeat him!

Busy day - lunch with G and T but no S as she was too busy.  Nice wander round the garden and lots of plant chat!  Home for a quick cup of tea then off to the pub for pre-wedding drinks and eats.  Lovely idea as you get to talk to lots of the other guests before the BIG day.  No.2 unpacked his suit and tried it on - not really to his taste (slim fit style) but the day is about Matthew and No.2 will just have to suck it up!!
