Bella, Ziggy and Dog Walking

Busy day again. Ziggy walk in the morning, Hetty has been ill for the past two days so Julia took her to the hospital to see an out of hours doctor (not A&E). It turned out the be the same doctor that treated Bella for her very sore eye in the Children's A&E last week. He said Hetty should settle down this evening or in the morning. They left early afternoon and Julia said she was ok, until they stopped at a services and she ate!
We are really going to miss those girls, tiring as they may have been it's been a great privilege looking after them the past 15 months.

Then this evening Ziggy and I went for a charity dog walk with the Stonehouse Dog Training Club. It was to benefit the Aurus Dogs who take in abandoned pets, or those that need re-homing, find new homes or just look after those that cannot be re-homed.
I've raised £81 for them through Facebook. I think the other walkers are just donating from their own pocket (which I also did of course).
The walk was 45 minutes around the outskirts of Stonehouse including the canal, see extra collage.
It was a really pleasant evening while back home we had a downpour of biblical proportions for about 20 minutes. When I set off, to go the Stonehouse, I got about 1 mile from home and it was bone dry!
After dog walk we were treated to a Ploughman's Lunch on the Club.
There was a talk by a lady from Aurus Dogs but I didn't stay, i was just too tired.
It's going to be very strange without the girls here, lonely even but it will be nice for Marlane and I to have some time to ourselves.
