I've felt like this before

It took a while to get going this morning but by late afternoon I was into my stride.  A glass of Lucozade to try to quell a developing headache didn't have the desired effect but it did buy me two extra hours of drafting my paper.  But by then it was gone half six and I was suddenly very tired.

The usual headache meds took a long time to work: two entire interviews with bass supremo Mark King to be precise, but I managed to make and eat my dinner in the process.

It has been raining like mad, on and off all day, and Leadburn, a few miles away, even managed a rumble or two of thunder.  My accidental Mono for Monday is an afternoon cloudburst on the felted roof of my garage.  It really has been raining a ton the last couple of weeks.  Huddersfield notwithstanding, I think bestie and I lucked out going on holiday when we did.
