Another Well Climber

I saw it when I went out to photograph the rose and the lily.

We went out for a quick shop so that we could get a walk in before the predicted rain arrived. 
We only got a few hundred yards and it arrived! Not too hard I am glad to say but we cut short the walk and needless to say the rain stopped not long before we got home.

There has been a wee bit of turning done and I have started on a new piece using some really hard African wood which has the most marvellous really dark grain but is a nightmare to work - it blunts the tool almost as soon as you touch it, comes off more as dust (which coats everything) rather than 'ribbons' and chips terribly. It is going to take a lot of time and sanding to get any kind of decent finish.

There was some prat driving racing around the street in a clapped out car with a knackered exhaust whist using his mobile phone ... and no seatbelt. A quick check also showed that there was a distinct lack of documents for it.
I tried phoning the local Constabulary ........... all I kept getting was a recorded message saying that my call couldn't be connected. That is one way of avoiding having to do anything!!!!
