What a Beautiful Sight

Out mother has had a busy day. I’ve told her all the walking will keep her muscles working properly. She agrees. After breakfast, she and hubby dropped me at the asthma office. On the way, he stopped so I could get a photo of this crepe myrtle in my neighbor’s lawn. Hubby took her through some of the new neighborhoods that have been built in the last few years. I was in and out of the office quickly. We bought milk and went to a country cooking restaurant that just opened in a vacated cozy restaurant space. My mother and I enjoyed vegetable crab soup, a specialty in our area. When we got home, my mother was ready for a long summer’s nap. Hubby and I followed her lead shortly after. Kristen invited us to dinner since Hubby was taking the camper to their RV garage. We are so thankful to have it out of the sun. Dinner at Kristen’s is always a treat. Wishing you a quiet evening.
