Bee Beautiful
Thursday is Romeo’s Day and back to home territory at the Golf Club. Although it was very sunny, Arran seemed to have disappeared this morning, so no great blip possible. The bacon roll was good though.
On the way home I had been tasked with going to the cattle market where good but cheap dog food can be had in 15kg bags. They feed it to their sheepdogs. Hamish and Biscuit both love it.
Back home I had a look at the bush which grows underneath our bedroom window. It was absolutely swarming with bees this afternoon. They obviously have a nest nearby. I’m amazed that none have found their way into the bedroom as the window is usually open during the day.
More entertainment was discovered out back. The farmer had decided to cut the grass beyond our fence with a huge tractor cutter which Hamish objected to. It’s no wonder that the coos have not been set loose in our field so often this year. The farmer is well aware of the barking maniac in no. 21. So sad that they may be building houses on this field in the next year or two.
