…. we’re the minkies. As the daughter is off on gardening leave she brought small boy along to Joy Tots for their 2-4 y.o. arty class to join the minky and myself. And he did reasonably well with painting and sticking.. until he got a bit bored and went off to the play area. Meanwhile the daughter and I had coffee. And cake. And minky continued sticking sticky things on pieces of paper. Good girl.


Later she was reunited with her small brer for a babysitting session as the daughter was off on some ex-work do which may have involved refreshments. Which I can’t criticize her for, as I was soon doing exactly the same thing. Yes, at Stratties of all places. With AJ. The Hertz were at home y’see, in the money grubbing league phase of the league cup. Absurd. It’s July. Still, three games gone and they’d scored four goals in each. Could the momentum be maintained?
