Slooow Day!

Earlier this week I meal-prepped a batch of 4 overnight oats breakfasts. I had let the raspberries they were topped with (mushed up) go slightly past their best, but I thought it would be OK if I removed the mouldy ones... It wasn't. 

Yesterday's was iffy and today's was definitely off. So they ended up in the bin. I know for future reference that I need to make them with fully fresh fruit. 

Blackberries are almost ready, I will take a walk and pick some - you can't get fresher than that...

When I opened the kitchen bin to dump the off food a cloud of tiny flies flew into my face, so I had to put the bin bag out too. I'd been advised by Brian to buy new milk too, so a walk to the Co-op before breakfast was necessary too.

While I was outside I noticed a few snails and decided to take photos of them to take the pressure off of having to look for a Blip. There's a Minstrel extra too! The bathroom storage box is his relaxing spot of choice currently.


Wigan won last night! They weren't at their best and probably wouldn't have beaten a better team than Catalan, who actually won the second half. A couple of our younger lads are looking promising, on the plus side.
